Farsiders - E205 (Education Building)
Leader: Debbie Inman
The Farsiders Sunday School class is a small, easy going group, consisting of age 40+ adults. They do a variety of studies, sometimes using a book, a particular section of the bible, a DVD series, or just talking abou how God has worked in their lives during that particular week. In this class they are able to voice opinions without being judged, share times of grief or happiness, reach out to each other in prayer, and learn from each other through study and open discussion. This class is not for the structured person, seeking a large classroom setting, hungry for an indepth discussion from a speaker or primary teacher.

Fellowship - Church Parlor
Leaders: Warren Ross & Bob Warren
The Fellowship Class was our first established adult Sunday School class in 1974. It has an average attendance of 10 to 12 persons. They are taught by Bob Warren and Warren Ross, both very fine teachers and long time Methodists. They use the standard Adult Bible Study series for a foundational and balanced approach to Bible Study. It is a class that includes lecture and discussion with a warmth and a fellowship that is a joy to be a part of.

New Horizons - E202
Leader: Jim Stringer
New Horizons’ studies vary . We have also had visiting professors from TCU with various subjects being taught, class members who present studies on current books by such authors as Marcus Borg, Karen Armstrong, Dominic Crosson, John S. Spong, and visiting teachers on varied subjects that pertain to Biblical studies, social services, and social justice.   We have several class members who share teaching responsibilities. Social gatherings are scheduled three to four times a year, and a games night is being organized on a monthly basis.  Our mission efforts involve regular monthly contributions to Boys & Girls Club and Mission Granbury.  We also contribute to church youth activities, choir and mission trips, as well as other church activities on an as needed basis. Various members participate on church and community committees.  We are an active and involved class with members of various ages.  We consider that our class epitomizes the United Methodist motto, "open minds, open doors, open hearts".

Seekers - E-4
Leader: Dick Jones
The Seekers Class is composed of about 52 people, couples and singles, in the 40+ age range.  Our average attendance is about 36.  Dick Jones is the discussion leader and we meet in room E-4 at 9:45 A.M.

Our studies are Bible based and are conducted in a discussion format with a leader keeping the discussion moving following a lesson plan that continues from Sunday to Sunday.  Seating is in a circular arrangement to promote discussion and help people get to know each other better.

We generally have four or more class social events per year and enjoy participating in Church-wide activities.  Everyone is always welcome in the Seekers Class!

Visionaries - E101

The Visionaries Class is a class of all age adults who are primarily interested in the study of the Scriptures. There are singles as well as couples, and the age range is fairly wide. The class chooses the book of the Bible that they wish to study, and it is a "verse by verse" search for the truth as it applies today.  The class also has one party a month which is a wonderful time for fellowship and sharing.
