Rancho
Brazos Community Center

Under the arch of AUMC’s mission to glorify God, lead
others to Christ, nurture disciples and serve other in
Christ’s name, we work specifically at the Rancho Brazos
Community Center to build relationships through Jesus
Christ, mentor children and youth, offer life-skills
training and provide freedom, hope and relief.
The
Rancho Brazos Community Center is an outreach ministry to
the community located on the corner of Tumbleweed Lane and
Sundown Trail, off David Road in the Rancho Brazos
subdivision.
Activities:
Cooperative ministry with the Boys and Girls Club after
school each day during the school year which provides
tutoring and a variety of enrichment activities
Children’s enrichment activities including gardening,
music, dance and drama
Cooperative ministry with Headstart which provides ministry
to families with preschool aged children
Vacation Bible School each summer in the neighborhood
ESL (English as a second language) classes offered free of
charge on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM. Child care and
dinner is provided for participants.
Persons are also available to assist with reading (Adult
literacy) and one-on-one tutoring in a variety of areas.
